Axle Polishing Kit

Our Axle Polishing Kit contains one 5 1/2" x 4 1/4" sheet of each of the following sandpaper grit levels:

400 Grit
600 Grit
1000 Grit
1200 Grit

One may not even be aware of the fact that sandpaper can come in grits this high.  They are specialty sandpapers used for fine polishing of metals.  In this case, the highest grits, 2000, 2500 and 4000 will create a smoother finish on the axle than pumice or your basic polishing compound.  The 4000 grit is actually referred to as polishing paper by its manufacturer.  Each polishing kit has enough sandpaper to polish up to 12 axles.
